Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants for relief and ongoing agency opportunities across East Cork. We are seeking candidates with strong weekly availability for day, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts, depending on service requirements.

Recent QQI Level 5 graduates are welcome to apply, with emphasis on those who have completed all eight modules and hold CPR/First Aid certification. Garda Vetting and references are expected where applicable.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Major Award ALL 8 modules completed in Healthcare or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good weekly availability and flexibility for agency shifts.
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Garda Vetting or willingness to complete vetting.
• CPR/First Aid and Manual Handling certification.

• Provide relief healthcare support across East Cork.
• Cover day, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts as required by service needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare and disability services teams.
• Coordinate with recruitment and scheduling teams for placements.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can offer good weekly availability and flexibility across day, night and weekend shifts, depending on service requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent Healthcare graduates who have completed their full QQI Level 5 Major Award (all 8 modules) and are looking to gain valuable experience working across healthcare and disability services.

Essential Requirements

• Full QQI Level 5 Major Award ALL 8 modules must be completed in Healthcare Support, Nursing Studies, Health Service Skills or Community Health Services
• Good weekly availability and flexibility for agency shifts
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland
• Garda Vetting or willingness to complete the vetting process
• Three satisfactory employment references
• Current Manual Handling and CPR/First Aid certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Full driving licence is desirable

As these are relief/agency positions, we are looking for candidates who can provide regular availability each week.
