Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is recruiting Social Care Workers for relief and ongoing agency opportunities across Cork City, Ireland.

We seek experienced workers with a real commitment to person‑centred support for individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism. Roles offer flexible agency work, competitive rates and exposure to a range of residential services.

Qualifications

• A recognised Social Care qualification meeting the requirements for registration as a Social Care Worker in Ireland.
• Current CORU registration as a Social Care Worker, where required for placement.
• Relevant experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
• Experience working within residential, disability or high‑support services.
• Knowledge and understanding of person‑centred and rights‑based approaches to care.
• Understanding of safeguarding, risk management and HIQA standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Full clean driving licence with the ability to drive manual vehicles on Irish roads.
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Garda Vetting or willingness to complete the process.
• Police clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support safe medication practices in line with training and policies.
• Follow HIQA standards and organisational procedures.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and provide guidance where required.
