Job summary

CareerWise Recruitment is seeking an Account Manager (Technical Sales Engineer) to drive equipment sales and support internal teams and clients across Cork or Limerick. This field-based role focuses on delivering commercial success while maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating with internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background with HVAC exposure, and experience with consultants/contractors; CRM systems and strong technical skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or degree in a related field.
• Certification in HVAC (HVACR) preferred or proven HVAC experience.
• Experience with consultants and contractors is advantageous.
• Technical Sales and client-facing experience is desirable.

Job description

An Account Manager (Technical Sales Engineer) is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Corporate client which can be located in Cork or Limerick.. We are hiring for a Technical Sales Engineer focusing on Equipment Sales. The position is focused on the daily operations of the business, as well driving commercial success by the supporting of internal team and clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to build their experience with a global organization. This is a Field-based opportunity: Work is conducted on-site at customer locations.

Role of this position Technical graduate preferably with Certification in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning or proven experience in a similar role Some experience in HVAC business would be preferred, Technical Services business or similar industry (e.g. direct sales, back-selling, customer service) and Technical activity focused on Technical Products/Solutions. Strong computer skills, including excel, experience with CRM systems and service database management advantage. Client facing experience and comfort with internal/external sales deadlines. Ability to manage the expectations of a senior sales team and prioritise work effectively.
