Job Description

• Lead and manage a design team of 4-5 designers.
• Interpret client business needs and develop commercially responsive design solutions.
• Stay updated on local consumer trends to craft customer-centric retail experiences.
• Develop store identity designs and guidelines, adapting global concepts to the local market.
• Oversee the creation of visual merchandising schemes for product launches, including material and production development.
• Provide solutions for production constraints (budget, timeline, materials) with in-depth technical and production knowledge.
• Supervise and ensure the quality of mockups and production for all design projects.
• Design and develop both permanent and temporary retail environments.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 7 years of experience in retail design (preferably in consumer goods, store development, and visual merchandising).
• Bachelor's degree in design or a related field.
• Ability to work in a matrix-based organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in 3D/2D design tools (3DS Max, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint).
• Strong leadership, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent understanding of client needs and business objectives.
• Trend-sensitive with the ability to integrate consumer insights into design concepts.
• Detail-oriented and non-negotiable on brand execution guidelines.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
