Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in Jakarta is seeking an Accounting & Tax Assistant Manager for a multinational manufacturing company. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in accounting, business-level English, and at least 10 years of experience in Accounting & Tax, with 5 years in a supervisory role. Strong skills in MS Office and experience with SAP and tax systems are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounting & Tax, with at least 5 years as Supervisor in a manufacturing company.
- Has A, B & C Brevet certificates.
- Meticulous, high personal discipline.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, manage, and close monthly & yearly reports on time, including financial statements.
- Handle journal entries and reconcile financial data precisely.
- Manage tax provision & compliance process and review complex income tax returns.

Our client is a Multinational Manufacture company. Currently, they are looking for Accounting & Tax Assistant Manager.
- Prepare, manage and close monthly & yearly reports on time, including financial statements.
- Handle journal entries and reconcile financial data precisely.
- Verify completeness of documents required for financial transactions.
- Correspond with finance department and management, discussing company plans and future directions.
- Prepare, organize, develop & control tax calculations, payments to all taxes, and online SPT reporting to the tax office.
- Facilitate, manage & deliver a full range of tax services and audits in compliance with laws & regulations within a timeframe while identifying & mitigating tax risks.
- Manage tax provision & compliance process while providing efficient, accurate, timely, strategic & innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns, and all necessary federal & state taxes.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor’s in accounting from a reputable university.
- Business level English proficiency.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounting & Tax with at least 5 years as Supervisor in a manufacturing company.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
- Experience with SAP system and tax systems (e‑filling, e‑billing, and djponline.com).
- Has A, B & C Brevet certificates.
- Quick to adapt, fast learner, meticulous, attention to detail, high personal discipline, communicative & detail oriented.
