PT Sumisho Global Logistics Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Manager for our South Cikarang facility in West Java. The role oversees receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, drives inventory accuracy and safety, and partners with logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in warehouse management, strong WMS experience, and proven leadership abilities to manage large teams while maintaining cost controls and KPI targets.

• Minimum 5 years in warehouse management or similar logistics operations role.
• Proven track record of managing large warehouse facilities and teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations in warehousing operations.
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Good communication skills in both English and Indonesian; additional languages are advantageous.
• Experience with KPI monitoring and performance optimisation.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of lean warehouse management principles is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatching of goods.
• Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure data integrity.
• Optimise warehouse layout and storage systems to maximise space utilisation and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and manage key performance indicators such as order accuracy, delivery times and cost controls.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures and best practice guidelines.
• Liaise with customers and other stakeholders to address issues and maintain service standards.
• Manage warehouse budgets and control operational costs.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Manager to join our team at our facility in South Cikarang, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facility. As Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, from inventory management and staff supervision to logistics coordination and compliance. You will be responsible for maximising operational efficiency, maintaining safety standards and achieving key performance indicators whilst ensuring excellent customer service delivery.
