Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 15 years in land transport or logistics; at least 5 years in leadership.
• Proven track record with multi-site operations and fleet management.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Job description

We are seeking a Vice President of Land Transport to join PT Kamadjaja Logistics, a leading organisation in the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics sector. This is a full-time position based in Cibitung, Bekasi, West Java, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our land transport operations and driving strategic initiatives across our logistics network. As Vice President, you will be responsible for managing large-scale transport operations, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance and profitability whilst contributing to the company's long-term growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

Developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for land transport operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve service delivery

Overseeing the management of fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, utilisation and lifecycle planning

Leading and supervising senior transport management teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement

Ensuring strict compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards and environmental requirements

Managing relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring service level agreements are met and exceeded

Monitoring financial performance of transport operations, including budgeting, cost control and revenue optimisation

Implementing technology solutions and process improvements to streamline transport operations and enhance visibility

Developing and executing talent management strategies within the transport division to attract, retain and develop skilled personnel

Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of land transport services with broader logistics offerings

Reporting to senior leadership on operational metrics, performance indicators and strategic recommendations

What we're looking for

Minimum 15 years of experience in land transport or logistics management, with at least 5 years in a senior management or leadership capacity

Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale transport operations and multi-site facilities

Strong understanding of transportation regulations, safety compliance and environmental standards within the manufacturing and logistics sectors

Demonstrated expertise in fleet management, operational efficiency and cost optimisation

Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams

Strategic thinking ability with proven experience in developing and implementing long-term operational strategies

Proficiency in logistics management systems and relevant software applications

Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis

Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, Transportation or a related field
