About the role

We are seeking an experienced Trucking Operational Manager to join our company in a full-time position based in Bekasi, Jawa Barat. This role is pivotal to the success of our road transport operations, overseeing the day‑day management of our trucking fleet and ensuring seamless logistics delivery across our network. As Trucking Operational Manager, you will be responsible for optimising operational efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and driving performance improvements across our transport division. This position reports directly to Director and plays a critical role in achieving our operational objectives and customer satisfaction targets.

Key responsibilities

Overseeing and managing the daily operations of the trucking fleet, including route planning, vehicle maintenance schedules, and driver assignment

Ensuring compliance with road transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies across all operations

Monitoring fleet performance metrics, fuel efficiency, and delivery timelines to identify areas for improvement

Managing driver recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation

Coordinating with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments

Implementing and maintaining vehicle maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and extend fleet longevity

Resolving operational issues, customer complaints, and emergency situations in a timely manner

Preparing operational reports and analysing data to support decision‑making and strategic planning

Liaising with customers and stakeholders to ensure service level agreements are met

Managing operational budgets and controlling costs without compromising service quality

What we’re looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in trucking operations management (Trailer/Wingbox/Box/Car Carrier/Motor cycle Carrier) or similar role within the road transport sector

Strong knowledge of road transport regulations, vehicle maintenance, and fleet management best practices

Proven track record in managing large teams, including drivers and support staff

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with drivers, staff, customers, and external stakeholders

Proficiency in using fleet management software and operational management systems

Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions

Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in transport operations

Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

Valid driving licence and knowledge of vehicle safety standards (preferred)

Fluency in Indonesian and English (preferred)
