Job summary

PT Orca Technology Solutions in Bekasi seeks a skilled Valve and Actuator Warehouse Engineer to ensure efficient handling, assembly, quality control, packaging, and shipment of valves and actuators. You will use ERP for inventory, coordinate with Supply Chain, and assist with GA drawings and tender submissions.

The role requires strong English, valve automation experience, and proficiency with ERP systems, with opportunities to work closely in a team and maintain high safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle and assemble pallets of valves and actuators per specifications.

• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with Supply Chain for timely orders.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
• Assist in preparing GA/engineering drawings and submissions for tenders.
• Mount, assemble, inspect, calibrate and test electric/pneumatic actuated valves.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Valve and Actuator Warehouse Engineer to join our team at PT Orca Technology Solutions, based in Bekasi. As an Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our operations ensuring the efficient handling, assembly, quality control, packaging, transport and shipment of valves and actuators. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Key responsibilities

• Handling and Assembly: Loading and unloading pallets of valves and actuators parts, assemble disassembled parts according to technical specifications
• Quality Control: Inspection and testing of assembled parts for quality assurance and adherence to standards, as per client requirements
• Packaging and Labelling: Properly clamp, dismount, pack items into suitable packaging materials, and label them accurately for outward shipment
• Inventory Management: Utilize the ERP system to book inventory in and out, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory control
• Shipment Coordination: Collaborate with Supply Chain Management for inbound and outbound shipments to ensure order timeliness and warehouse storage considerations
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
• Engineering Drawings and submissions: Assist in preparation of GA drawings or engineering drawings and submissions for project tenders
• Assembly and Testing: Mounting, assembly, inspection, calibration and testing of electric and pneumatic actuated on-off valves and control valves.

About you

• Working proficiency in English is a must
• Proficient experience in handling valves, and valve automation, including inspection and testing is a must
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for inventory management
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as necessary
• Proficiency to operate forklift is preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Solid works is preferred
• Preparation of GA drawings / Engineering drawings and other submissions to support for project tenders
• Any other work as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanics or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role within valve and automation environment is advantageous.
