About the role

Travelingeropa group is seeking an experienced Travel Manager to join our dynamic team in South Tangerang, Banten. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to lead and oversee travel operations, client relationships, and business development initiatives. As Travel Manager, you will be instrumental in driving customer satisfaction, optimising travel solutions, and contributing to the growth and success of our organisation within the competitive travel and tourism industry.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing and coordinating travel arrangements for corporate and leisure clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with travel suppliers, airlines, hotels, and other hospitality partners to secure competitive rates and exclusive deals
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the travel department, including booking management, itinerary planning, and travel documentation
• Identifying new business opportunities and implementing strategies to expand the client base and increase revenue
• Handling client inquiries, resolving travel-related issues, and providing personalised travel consultation and recommendations
• Preparing travel proposals, quotations, and contracts tailored to client requirements and preferences
• Monitoring travel trends, destination updates, and industry developments to provide clients with current and relevant travel information
• Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness whilst maintaining service quality standards
• Training and supervising travel consultants and support staff to ensure consistent service excellence
• Maintaining accurate records and databases of client information, bookings, and travel preferences

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in travel management, travel consulting, or a related role within the travel and tourism industry
• Strong knowledge of travel booking systems, reservation platforms, and travel management software and worlwide visa
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and suppliers
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating business growth through client acquisition and retention
• Comprehensive understanding of global travel destinations, visa requirements, travel documentation, and international travel regulations
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple bookings and clients simultaneously
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing travel challenges and client concerns
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and travel management software systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional language skills are advantageous
• Familiarity with corporate travel programmes and leisure travel packages is beneficial
