Job summary

PT Feni Haltim is seeking a Training Specialist to assess training needs across roles and locations, and to develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training materials, including presentations, videos, safety guidelines, and simulations. You will ensure that procedures comply with local, national, and international regulations, and conduct assessments to measure training effectiveness.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years in HSE training, with English fluency and willingness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OH&S, engineering, management, education, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in HSE training or similar role.
• From or domiciled in North Maluku preferred.
• Willing to be placed in East Halmahera, North Maluku.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good command of English; Mandarin preferred.

Position: Training Specialist

Job Description:

Assess training needs based on job responsibilities, work locations, operational risks, and applicable occupational health and safety regulations.

Develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training materials, including presentations, videos, safety guidelines, practical simulations, evacuation drills, and other training resources.

Explain and ensure that HSE procedures, standards, and policies comply with applicable local, national, and international regulations.

Conduct training assessments and evaluate training effectiveness through examinations, practical assessments, observations, and other appropriate methods.

Prepare training evaluation reports and provide recommendations to management based on training results and workplace observations.

Identify opportunities to improve work procedures and safety practices to minimize workplace accidents and occupational risks.

Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of HSE training programs.

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Management, Education, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an HSE Training Specialist, HSE Trainer, or in a similar position.

Candidates who are from or currently domiciled in North Maluku (Maluku Utara) are highly preferred.

Willing to be placed in East Halmahera, North Maluku.

Physically and medically fit, as confirmed through the company’s medical check-up requirements.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Good command of English, both written and spoken. Mandarin language skills are preferred.

Strong conceptual and analytical thinking with a solution-oriented mindset.

Demonstrates a can-do attitude, positive attitude, self-motivation, proactiveness, and willingness to learn.

Able to work independently and collaboratively with different departments.

Able to work and adapt effectively in a fast-paced working environment.
