Job summary

PT Snf Polymers Indonesia is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead and manage the HSE function across the manufacturing plant and projects. You will develop, implement and improve HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure safe operations and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 8–10 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing setting, proven team leadership, and strong knowledge of Indonesian HSE regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Proven experience supervising and leading an HSE team.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian HSE regulations and applicable standards.
• Experience in risk management, incident investigation, safety audits, emergency response, and HSE compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• English proficiency in written and spoken is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to reduce workplace accidents, unsafe conditions, and environmental risks.
• Monitor HSE performance through KPIs and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, and other departments to ensure safe operations.
• Lead emergency preparedness and response programs.
• Manage environmental compliance, waste management, and related environmental initiatives.
• Provide regular HSE reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead HSE training, awareness programs, toolbox meetings, and safety campaigns.

Requirements

• Minimum 8–10 years of HSE experience, with significant experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Proven experience supervising and leading an HSE team.
• Willing to be Placed In Plant CKD
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian HSE regulations and applicable standards.
• Strong experience in risk management, incident investigation, safety audits, emergency response, and HSE compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead HSE improvement programs and deliver measurable results.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Able to influence and collaborate effectively with employees, supervisors, managers, and senior leadership.
• Proactive, decisive, disciplined, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Professional HSE certifications such as AK3 Umum, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, is preferred.
