Job summary

PT Feni Haltim is seeking a qualified Doctor with at least 4 years of medical practice, including ED/ER and radiology experience. The candidate must hold STR and SIP, with Hiperkes and possible BNSP certification.

Proficiency in English is required, and willingness to be stationed in East Halmahera, North Maluku. The role covers emergency medical services, patient coordination, and medical administration in a high-pressure setting, ensuring compliance with medical regulations and hospital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Professional Medical Doctor qualification (S1 Profesi Kedokteran).
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a medical doctor, preferably with ED/ER and Radiology experience.
• Hold a valid Medical Registration Certificate (STR).
• Hold a valid Practice License (SIP) applicable to the company or healthcare facility.
• Mandatory: Occupational Health and Safety (Hiperkes) Certification.
• BNSP certification related to Occupational Health and Safety (K3) or Company Doctor competency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Medical Services: triage, resuscitation and stabilization, including BLS/ALS and airway management.
• Patient Coordination and Referral: consult with medical specialists; determine disposition and coordinate transfers.
• Medical Administration and Legal Responsibilities: maintain medical records and prepare reports; obtain informed consent; ensure compliance with regulations.

Job Requirements:

Willing to be assigned to East Halmahera (Halmahera Timur), North Maluku.

Priority will be given to candidates who are originally from or domiciled in North Maluku (Maluku Utara).

Job Description:

1. Emergency Medical Services

Perform patient triage and prioritize treatment according to the severity and urgency of the medical condition.

Provide resuscitation and stabilization, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS), airway management, and other life-saving procedures as required.

Conduct rapid assessment and establish an initial diagnosis through focused history-taking and physical examination.

Request and interpret appropriate supporting examinations, such as ECG, laboratory tests, and urgent X-ray/radiology examinations.

Manage emergency medical and trauma cases, including wound suturing, fracture immobilization, burns, acute cardiovascular conditions, stroke, seizures, and other medical emergencies.

2. Patient Coordination and Referral

Consult and coordinate with relevant medical specialists for further diagnosis and treatment.

Determine appropriate patient disposition, including outpatient treatment, hospitalization, intensive care, or referral to another healthcare facility.

Coordinate and ensure the safe transfer or referral of patients to hospitals or healthcare facilities with appropriate medical capabilities.

3. Medical Administration and Legal Responsibilities

Maintain complete, accurate, chronological, and timely medical records for all patients.

Prepare medical reports and Visum et Repertum when required in accordance with applicable regulations and authorized requests.

Explain the patient's medical condition, proposed treatment, potential risks, and alternatives, and obtain appropriate informed consent before medical procedures.

Ensure all medical practices and documentation comply with applicable medical, occupational health, safety, and company regulations.
