Job summary

PT. Graha Material Perkasa is seeking a Sales Engineer to develop new customers and business opportunities. You will understand technical requirements and recommend irrigation equipment, systems, and power tools based on client needs.

You will conduct site visits, prepare quotations and proposals, present products, follow up through closing, and coordinate with internal teams to meet customer requirements while building lasting relationships and supporting after-sales service.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales Engineer or similar.
Experience in irrigation systems, agricultural equipment, power tools, or related products preferred.
Strong understanding of irrigation equipment components (pumps, pipes, valves, sprinklers).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
Conduct customer visits and site surveys to understand technical requirements.
Recommend suitable irrigation equipment, systems and power tools based on customer needs.
Explain product specifications, features, applications, and proper usage to customers.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical information.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations.
Follow up on sales opportunities from inquiry to closing.
Coordinate with internal teams to meet customer requirements.
Maintain relationships with existing customers and provide after-sales support.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Achieve assigned sales targets and report activities regularly.
