Job summary

PT Ekatama Prima Solusindo is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer who can identify new business opportunities and manage relationships with existing clients. You will translate customer needs into engineering and technical solutions, prepare quotations, and present proposals.

The role requires reading drawings, understanding technical specs, and coordinating with engineering, production, procurement and project teams to deliver on customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or related)
• Experience as Sales Engineer, Technical Sales, or Project Sales is a plus
• Able to read technical drawings and understand specifications
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Search for and develop new business opportunities and potential customers
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
• Understand customer technical needs and provide engineering/technical solutions
• Prepare quotations, proposals, technical offers, and presentations
• Conduct technical clarifications on specifications, drawings, materials, and scope of work
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Project teams to realize customer requirements
• Conduct site visits and customer visits to understand field conditions
• Participate in tender processes, quotations, negotiations, and closing
• Follow up on quotations and document progress for each opportunity
• Analyze market needs and identify opportunities for engineering products/services
• Prepare reports on sales pipeline, customer visits, quotations, and sales performance
• Ensure customer communication and documentation are handed over to Project/Engineering teams
