PT Total Fluid Control in Surabaya and West Java area is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to bridge technical capabilities with customer needs. You will identify opportunities, present solutions, and support the sales process with technical knowledge.

The role combines engineering expertise with field sales, involves travel to client sites, and requires strong communication and CAD/technical drawing interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical sciences, or related field or equivalent practical experience in a technical sales environment.
• Proven track record of success in a sales engineer/technical sales role within industrial or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong understanding of fluid control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, or related industrial equipment.
• Excellent technical communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and undertake field visits.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality assurance processes; CAD drawing interpretation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the industrial sector, leveraging technical knowledge to understand customer needs.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective and existing clients.
• Provide technical support and consultation to the sales team during proposals and negotiations.
• Conduct site visits and facility assessments to recommend appropriate fluid control solutions.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge and stay current with industry trends and competitors.
• Prepare technical specifications, quotations, and proposals tailored to customer requirements.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with engineering/product teams to ensure solutions are properly designed and implemented.
• Provide post-sale technical support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain records of sales activities and pipeline using CRM systems.
