Job summary

PT Rukun Sejahtera Teknik is seeking a Sales Engineer canvassing role to identify new customers and introduce technical equipment across workshops, automotive repair shops, factories and contractors. You will build relationships, follow up with prospects, and close sales with competitive pricing and informed recommendations.

Applicants should have a D3 or equivalent, 2+ years in technical sales, strong communication, and a willingness to visit customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3 education or equivalent, preferably in Engineering or Marketing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales/Sales Engineer, particularly in technical equipment, tools, machinery, or safety equipment.
• Experienced in canvassing and identifying new customers.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Accustomed to working with targets and motivated to achieve sales results.
• Customer database/network in Jabodetabek area is an advantage.
• Understanding of technical equipment products is an advantage.
• Possess Class A and Class C driving licenses.
• Willing to conduct customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct canvassing and identify new customers at workshops, automotive repair shops, factories, industries, contractors, and other companies
• Introduce and present products to prospective customers
• Explain product functions and advantages and provide recommendations according to customer needs
• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing customers
• Perform follow-up, create price quotations, negotiate, and close sales
• Identify repeat order opportunities and develop customer potential
• Achieve company sales targets
• Create activity reports and customer development reports on a regular basis
