Job summary
PT Buana Jaya Suplindo is seeking a technical sales professional for industrial equipment serving Oil & Gas, Power, and Petrochemical sectors. You will identify prospects, provide technical consultation, perform sizing and selection, and prepare quotations.
You will coordinate with international principals, negotiate with clients, deliver after-sales support, and monitor market trends to help shape sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Petroleum).
- 3–5 years in Industrial Equipment supplier, EPC/Oil & Gas contractor, or manufacturing (Valve/Pump/Piping).
- Experience with valves (ball/gate/globe), pumps, piping systems, and instrumentation.
- Knowledge of API, ANSI, ASME, ASTM, JIS, and DIN standards.
- Fluent English written and spoken; able to communicate with international principals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect clients in Oil & Gas, Power Plant, and Petrochemical sectors.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrate valve, pump, and piping solutions.
- Perform sizing/selection calculations for valves and pumps to match specs.
- Prepare quotations, technical specs, and ensure API/ANSI/ASME compliance.
- Negotiate with client procurement/engineering to meet sales targets.
- Coordinate with foreign principals for technical support and stock updates.
- Provide after-sales support and handle technical complaints; ensure smooth delivery/installation.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to advise on marketing strategy.
