Job summary

In this role, the person will be responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory, and working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure a seamless supply chain. The contributions will directly support mission to provide high-quality, natural products to improve consumer globally.

Job Description

• Demand Forecasting: Develop accurate demand forecasts of products. Leverage historical sales data, promotional inputs, and consumer trends to predict demand across different markets and regions.
• Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Partner with the sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotional activities, product launches, and seasonal demand into the forecasting process. Align on go-to-market strategies to ensure inventory readiness and optimize sales performance.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure timely availability of products while minimizing excess stock or stockouts. Work closely with the supply planning team to balance the inventory across various channels (retail, e-commerce, and distributors) based on demand forecasts.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze demand patterns, sales trends, and forecast accuracy, providing insights and recommendations to improve overall demand planning. Regularly prepare reports for senior management to assess performance and highlight areas of improvement.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure that the demand plan aligns with production schedules and supply chain capabilities. Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to align supply and demand.
• Sustainability & Product Lifecycle Management: Ensure that the demand planning process aligns with company sustainability goals and product lifecycle strategies. Account for product launches, discontinuations, and shifts in consumer preferences towards eco-friendly and natural wellness products.
• Forecasting Systems & Tools: Utilize advanced forecasting tools and ERP systems (e.g., "SAP", "Oracle") to generate, track, and refine demand plans. Ensure data integrity and work towards optimizing the accuracy and efficiency of the demand planning process.
• Consumer Trends & Market Insights: Stay up to date with emerging wellness trends, consumer preferences, and market shifts. Leverage insights into changing consumer behaviors to proactively adjust demand plans and support product innovation.
• Risk Management: Monitor market conditions, supply chain disruptions, or demand fluctuations and collaborate with relevant teams to address potential risks, ensuring timely availability of products without overstocking.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree majoring in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management, preferably in the wellness, health, or FMCG industries.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, data analysis, and managing large datasets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP).
• Knowledge of the natural wellness or personal care products industry, including consumer behavior and seasonal demand patterns.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
