Job summary

Himalaya Wellness Indonesia is hiring a Demand Planning Specialist to forecast product demand, manage inventory, and work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and production teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in demand planning or SCM, strong analytics, and familiarity with ERP systems like SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field (Supply Chain Management, Business Administration)
• 5+ years in demand planning or SCM, preferably in wellness/ FMCG
• Strong analytics, forecasting, and data handling skills
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP)
• Knowledge of natural wellness or personal care industries desired
• Excellent communication in cross-functional settings
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Forecast demand for products using historical data, promotions, and trends
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to align on launches and promotions
• Oversee inventory to balance availability and minimize excess stock
• Analyze demand patterns, forecast accuracy, and prepare senior-management reports
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to align plan with production
• Support S&OP meetings and ensure alignment of supply and demand
• Consider sustainability and product lifecycle in planning
• Utilize forecasting tools and ERP systems to refine demand plans
• Monitor market conditions and potential supply/demand risks
