About The Role

The Supply and Demand Planning Specialist will play a crucial role in forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and optimizing the flow of goods throughout our supply chain. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles, data analysis skills, operational excellence, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to meet customer demand and maximize profitability.

Job Responsibilities

• Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors to develop accurate demand forecasts for our products. Collaborate with sales, brand, and product teams to gather insights and validate forecast assumptions.
• Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels across our supply chain network to balance service levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory. Implement inventory optimization techniques such as safety stock management and lead time analysis.
• Supply Planning: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods to meet production schedules and customer demand. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that may impact supply availability.
• Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, operations, and procurement teams, to facilitate effective communication and alignment on supply chain plans and priorities.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and areas for improvement within the supply chain planning process. Implement best practices and tools to streamline processes, enhance accuracy, and drive cost savings.

Job Requirements
