Job summary

Scarlett Indonesia invites a procurement professional to lead packaging supplier development, negotiate favorable terms, and manage sourcing for New Product Launches with strong emphasis on quality and OTIF delivery.

You will collaborate with Product Management and Supply Chain teams, overseeing daily procurement activities while ensuring compliance with sustainability and ethical sourcing standards. Proficiency in English is required, Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design or a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in packaging development or procurement in beauty/cosmetics or personal care industry.
• Strong understanding of packaging materials, supplier sourcing, procurement processes, and packaging development.
• Strong negotiation skills, particularly in supplier management, cost optimization, and procurement agreements.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Innovative, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Proficiency in English is required; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop packaging suppliers to ensure reliable alternative sourcing while maintaining quality standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Lead negotiations with packaging suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, cost reductions, and procurement efficiency.
• Manage packaging procurement requirements for New Product Launches (NPL), ensuring On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery through effective project coordination.
• Supervise and delegate daily procurement activities, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with established procurement procedures.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Supply Chain Project Management teams to support packaging innovation, development, and new product initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Prepare procurement reports, conduct cost analyses, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous process improvement.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, sustainability practices, and ethical sourcing standards.
• Supervise and support the procurement team
• Report procurement activities to the Head Procurement Packaging & Finished Good
