Job summary

Cimic Group seeks an experienced HR leader to organize multiple HR functions, provide strategic support to recruitment, and manage on-site human resources for remote project sites. The role emphasizes policy development, budget reporting, and onboarding to ensure seamless integration of new staff.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in HR, with preferred exposure to construction/mining environments and strong MS Office skills to drive compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in HRM; undergraduate degree preferable.
• 8–10 years of relevant HR experience.
• Experience managing daily and monthly HR activities.
• Experience working on remote site.
• Construction/mining industry experience preferred.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
• Knowledge of local employment act and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organize multiple HR areas and provide direction to staff.
• Coordinate with Hiring team on recruitment needs and provide support.
• Maintain startup projects with regular meetings with Project managers on recruitment timelines.
• Coordinate with Legal on labour supply contracts and finalize terms.
• Develop design, implementation, and administration of HR policies and activities.
• Prepare HR annual budget reports to ensure compliance with budgets.
• Ensure new staff induction through onboarding to integrate into corporate culture.

Job description

• To organize multiple functional areas within Human Resources including providing technical direction to technical/professional and clerical staff within assigned areas
• To maintain an effective and efficient two-way communication with the Hiring team on their recruitment needs, and render the right support, advice and assistance to them.
• To maintain effectively and efficiently all start-up projects by establishing regular meetings with Project managers on the recruitment needs and target timelines..
• To coordinate with Legal team on the contracts for the labour supply (non-staff), and follow-up with the labour supply agents to finalize the terms and conditions of the labour supply contracts.
• To develop the design, implementation and administration of human resource policies and activities.
• To provide report of HR annual budget preparation IN ORDER TO ensure compliance with the company budget guidelines and its monthly review
• To ensure all new staff are inducted through the on boarding process in order to facilitate assimilation and understanding of corporate culture.

Requirements:

• Diploma in human resources management , undergraduate degree is preferable
• 8 – 10 years relevant experience
• In depth experience in managing daily, monthly activity all areas of human resources
• Experience working on remote site
• Preferred construction/mining industry experience
• Intermediate skills of MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Intermediate understanding of local employment act/law.
