Job summary

PISON Group in Bali is seeking a hardworking steward to join our culinary team. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, wash and sanitize equipment, and support smooth daily kitchen operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning dishes and utensils, organizing the stewarding area, and assisting with opening/closing duties. The role requires attention to hygiene, safety standards, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Understanding of hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment properly.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, stewarding area, and storage areas.
• Clean kitchen floors, sinks, drains, and other assigned areas.
• Ensure all cleaned equipment and utensils are properly stored.
• Collect and dispose of waste according to company procedures.
• Assist with maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly.
• Report damaged equipment, utensils, or facilities to the Supervisor.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies when required.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Follow company SOP, hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Assist with daily kitchen opening and closing duties.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Steward, Kitchen Steward, or in a similar role is an advantage

Strong attention to cleanliness and detail

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
