Job summary

PISON Group in Bali is seeking a hardworking Daily Worker (DW) Steward to support daily kitchen and stewarding operations, maintain cleanliness, and ensure hygiene standards. Duties include washing and sanitizing kitchen equipment, organizing areas, and assisting with opening/closing cleaning tasks.

Ideal candidates have prior experience in stewarding or related roles, are physically fit, and can work in a fast-paced environment with flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Steward, Kitchen, Dishwasher, or similar is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, hygiene and food safety standards.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties efficiently.
• Good attention to detail and strong sense of cleanliness.
• Responsible, disciplined and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sanitize plates, glasses, cutlery, utensils, pots, pans and other equipment.
• Ensure items are dried, organized and stored properly.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, sinks, floors and drains.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing and cleaning equipment per procedures.
• Ensure adequate supplies of clean plates, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen and cleaning supplies.
• Report shortages or damaged equipment to the Supervisor.
• Handle garbage and waste according to procedures.
• Keep garbage areas clean and hygienic.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of all stewarding areas throughout the shift.
• Support kitchen and operations teams during busy periods.
• Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties.
• Minimize water and cleaning supplies usage while working efficiently.
• Coordinate with kitchen teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow SOPs and health, hygiene, safety procedures at all times.
• Support the team with additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

In this role, you will support daily kitchen and stewarding operations by maintaining cleanliness, washing and sanitizing kitchen equipment and utensils, managing stewarding areas, and ensuring hygiene and sanitation standards are consistently maintained.

What You'll Be Doing

• Wash, clean, and sanitize plates, glasses, cutlery, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment.
• Ensure all cleaned items are properly dried, organized, and stored in their designated areas.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, sinks, floors, drains, and other assigned areas.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing and cleaning equipment properly according to company procedures.
• Ensure adequate supplies of clean plates, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen equipment during operations.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen and cleaning supplies.
• Refill cleaning supplies and report shortages, damaged equipment, or other issues to the Supervisor.
• Handle garbage and waste properly according to company procedures.
• Keep garbage areas clean, organized, and hygienic.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all assigned stewarding areas throughout the shift.
• Support the kitchen and operational teams during busy production and service periods.
• Assist with daily opening and closing cleaning duties.
• Minimize water, cleaning supplies, and other resources while working efficiently.
• Coordinate with kitchen and operational teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow company SOP, hygiene, health, and safety procedures at all times.
• Support the operational team with additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

What We're Looking For
