Job summary

PT Surya Indo Plastic, a leader in thermoformed plastic packaging, seeks a Spare Part Controller to optimize spare parts inventory for maintenance and manufacturing. You will manage stock levels, verify part details, and coordinate with Maintenance, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to ensure availability of critical parts.

The role requires 2–3 years in inventory control, strong Excel skills, and a systematic, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor in Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–3 years in spare parts, warehouse, or inventory control.
• Experience with European machinery spare parts preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to prepare inventory reports and analysis.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, systematic, and able to coordinate with Maintenance, Technical, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams.
• Experience in plastics, thermoforming, or manufacturing industries preferred.

Job description

PT Surya Indo Plastic (SIP) is looking for a Spare Part Controller to join our team and ensure the availability, accuracy, and proper control of spare parts supporting our manufacturing and maintenance operations.

Key responsibilities

Monitor and control spare part inventory to ensure availability for maintenance requirements.

Maintain accurate records of spare part stock levels, movements, and transactions.

Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels, reorder points, and critical spare parts.

Conduct regular stock monitoring and stock opname and investigate any discrepancies.

Identify and verify spare parts based on part number, machine, specifications, and supplier/principal.

Follow up on spare part requirements, availability, purchasing status, and delivery with relevant parties.

Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Technical, Purchasing, Warehouse, and suppliers/principals.

Maintain and update spare part databases and inventory reports.

Prepare regular inventory reports and provide analysis of stock availability, shortages, slow-moving items, and critical parts.

Support the maintenance team in ensuring that critical spare parts are available when required.

About you

Minimum D3/S1, preferably in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in spare parts, warehouse, inventory control, or a related position.

Experience handling spare parts for European machinery, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Good understanding of inventory management, stock monitoring, stock opname, minimum/maximum stock levels, and reorder points.

Able to monitor and control critical spare parts and anticipate spare part requirements for maintenance activities.

Able to perform part identification, specification cross-checking, and follow-up based on part number, machine, and supplier/principal.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and able to prepare inventory reports and analysis.

Detail-oriented, disciplined, systematic, and able to perform analysis and effective follow-up.

Good communication and coordination skills with Maintenance, Technical, Purchasing, Warehouse, and suppliers.

Experience in plastics, thermoforming, or manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
