Job summary

PT Ant Spirits Indonesia is seeking a technically skilled service engineer to install, commission, and maintain laboratory equipment and extrusion machines at customer sites across Indonesia.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and provide essential technical support to clients. Travel across Indonesia is required to service multiple sites and compile detailed site reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant working experience in industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment, laboratory equipment, automation, maintenance or field service.
• Able to read basic electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and commissioning of laboratory equipment and extrusion machines.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Identify machine faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Replace defective components and spare parts.
• Perform machine testing, calibration checks and operational verification.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical components including motors, heaters, sensors, relays, contactors and temperature controllers.
• Assist with troubleshooting of PLC, inverter/VFD, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Provide technical support and basic equipment operation guidance to customers.
• Prepare service reports and document technical findings after each site visit.

About you

1–2 years of relevant working experience in industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment, laboratory equipment, automation, maintenance or field service

Good basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

Able to perform basic machine troubleshooting independently

Familiar with motors, heaters, sensors, relays, contactors and electrical control components

Able to read basic electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings

Able to use multimeters, measuring instruments and common hand tools

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Willing to perform hands-on technical work

Willing to travel frequently throughout Indonesia
