Job summary

PT. SETIA RACHMAT PARAMA is seeking a Project & Service Engineer to execute engineering and technical service from site survey through handover to the customer.

The role also supports Sales and Project teams with safe, effective technical solutions aligned with customer needs. Minimum 2–4 years in relevant engineering roles and the ability to read drawings, electrical/mechanical diagrams, and equipment manuals are essential.

Qualifications

• D3/S1 degree in engineering field required.
• 2–4 years in project/service/maintenance engineering.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Systematic troubleshooting based on data.
• Experience with measuring tools and testing gear.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Good communication with customers and suppliers.
• Able to prepare reports in English and Indonesian.

Job description

Project & Service Engineer is responsible for executing engineering and technical service work from site survey, technical preparation, installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, until handover to customer. This position also supports Sales and Project teams in providing appropriate, safe, effective technical solutions aligned with customer needs.

Key responsibilities

Conduct site survey and identify customer technical needs

Study technical specifications, drawings, manuals, scope of work, and project requirements

Prepare technical proposals, work methods, material requirements, and tools/equipment needs

Provide technical support to Sales in quotation, tender, and technical clarification processes

Coordinate technically with principals, suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, and customers

Create or review drawings, layouts, schematics, or engineering documents as needed

Execute and supervise installation, relocation, modification, fabrication, and equipment integration at customer sites

Conduct testing and commissioning to ensure equipment functions to specification and acceptance criteria

Monitor work progress against schedule, scope, quality, and safety requirements

Identify technical issues in the field and implement corrective actions promptly

About you

Minimum D3/S1 education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or related engineering field

Minimum 2-4 years experience as Project Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Automation Engineer, or related technical position

Ability to read technical drawings, electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals

Understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, control systems, instrumentation, or automation relevant to field of expertise

Ability to perform systematic troubleshooting based on data and equipment condition

Understanding of measuring tools and basic testing equipment

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Good communication with customers, principals, suppliers, and internal teams

Ability to prepare technical reports in Indonesian and English and communicate in English for reading manuals and technical documents
