PT Petgo Bastian is seeking a customer-focused server to join our Thai restaurant operations in Bali. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure timely, accurate service in a busy dining room.

Ideal candidates possess prior waitstaff experience, excellent communication, and a passion for hospitality. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is important to thrive here.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server or in a similar waitstaff role within a hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and dining etiquette.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests and describe menu items compellingly.
• Outstanding customer service orientation with a genuine passion for making guests feel welcome and valued.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays and dining items.
• Proficiency in taking orders accurately and managing multiple tables simultaneously.
• Friendly, professional demeanour and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varying shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic numeracy skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them in accordance with restaurant procedures and guest preferences.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about available dishes, beverages, and special offerings.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and professional manner, ensuring correct orders are served to the right guests.
• Check on guests regularly during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly.
• Process payments accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and provide appropriate change or payment solutions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, including setting tables, clearing plates, and resetting for subsequent guests.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment of beverages and dining supplies.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and elevate to management when necessary.
