Job summary

AlloFresh in Indonesia is seeking a Senior Warehouse Operations Leader to guide end-to-end fulfillment, from inbound to outbound, in a fast-paced e-grocery setting. The role focuses on achieving SLA targets, optimizing costs, and ensuring accurate inventory while coordinating with cross-functional teams on promotions and new initiatives.

You will manage large warehouse teams, implement SOPs, and drive continuous improvement in WMS-enabled processes and cold chain compliance.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in warehouse or distribution center operations, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing large warehouse teams.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management, and cold chain operations.
• Hands-on experience with WMS, inventory systems, and warehouse performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end warehouse operations: inbound, storage, picking, packing, outbound.
• Ensure SLA, productivity, cost efficiency, and accuracy in a high-volume environment.
• Develop and implement SOPs for inventory control, FIFO/FEFO, shrinkage prevention, and cold chain compliance.
• Monitor KPIs such as order fulfillment rate, picking accuracy, inventory accuracy, On-Time Fulfillment, and cost per order.
• Manage warehouse manpower planning, recruitment, scheduling, performance evaluation, and productivity optimization.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Commercial, and Tech teams to support demand spikes and new initiatives.
• Oversee inventory management, cycle counting, and reconciliation to minimize variance, loss, and damage.
• Ensure safety, hygiene, and food handling standards, including cold storage for perishable goods.

Job description

• Lead and oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound processes to support AlloFresh’s daily fulfillment targets.
• Ensure warehouse operations meet SLA, productivity, cost efficiency, and accuracy standards in a high-volume e-grocery environment.
• Develop and implement SOPs related to inventory control, stock accuracy, FIFO/FEFO, shrinkage prevention, and cold chain compliance.
• Monitor and improve key warehouse KPIs such as order fulfillment rate, picking accuracy, inventory accuracy, On-Time Fulfillment, and cost per order.
• Manage warehouse manpower planning, including recruitment, scheduling, performance evaluation, and productivity optimization.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Commercial, and Tech teams to support demand spikes, promotions, and new initiatives.
• Oversee inventory management, cycle counting, and reconciliation to minimize variance, loss, and damage.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and food handling standards, including cold storage and perishable goods requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, layout redesign, and adoption of warehouse technology (WMS, scanning, automation).
• Prepare and present regular operational reports, insights, and improvement plans to management.
• Oversee inventory management, cycle counting, and reconciliation to minimize variance, loss, and damage
• Monitor asset utilization and recommend investments in equipment upgrades or replacements to improve efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center operations, preferably in e-commerce, e-grocery, FMCG, or retail.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role managing large warehouse teams.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management, and cold chain operations.
• Hands-on experience with WMS, inventory systems, and warehouse performance reporting.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume, fast-moving operations under tight SLA and time pressure.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to lead, discipline, and motivate operational teams.
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
• Willing to work in shifts and be operationally hands-on when required.
