Qualifications

• Strong customer service with attentive, proactive, and respectful guest interaction.
• Solid Food & Beverage knowledge including BBQ, grilled dishes, and beverages.
• Hands-on food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, ideally supervisory.
• Clear and professional communication with guests and team coordination.
• Basic cooking knowledge or understanding of kitchen processes for back-of-house coordination.
• Experience in casual or upscale dining; BBQ or grill concepts are a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong teamwork, problem solving, and commitment to learning and service improvement.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages for Bali’s tourism market are beneficial.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bali, Indonesia. The Senior Waitstaff member oversees the guest experience from greeting to farewell, ensuring attentive, friendly, and efficient table service throughout the shift. Responsibilities include managing reservations and seating, taking orders, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, serving food and beverages, and handling guest inquiries or concerns. The role also involves mentoring junior waitstaff, supporting training, maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards, and upholding safety and hygiene guidelines. The Senior Waitstaff member works closely with the management team to support smooth service, contribute to menu and service feedback, and help deliver consistent, high-quality hospitality.
