Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking anExperienced Advisory Contract Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of contracts for major telecommunications and ICT projects in Jakarta. You will collaborate with sales, finance, technical, and management teams to structure compliant agreements aligned with business goals.

The candidate should bring strong negotiation, risk assessment, and international trade knowledge, plus proven ability to manage complex commercial agreements and large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law is required.
• 5+ years in contract management or related roles.
• 5+ years in contract review/analysis.
• 3+ years in contract drafting.
• 2+ years in contract negotiation.
• Experience in Telecommunications/ICT industry preferred; EPC/complex projects required.
• Strong knowledge of international trade rules, trade compliance and import/export regulations.
• Understanding of commercial and project finance fundamentals (revenue recognition, budgeting).
• Ability to identify contractual risks and draft mitigation provisions.
• Experience handling complex commercial agreements and large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end contract activities for telecom/ICT projects.
• Provide commercial and legal solutions to support sales with proper protections.
• Review contract terms to identify legal, financial, and operational risks.
• Oversee fulfillment and ensure milestone/compliance alignment.
• Manage sales authorization, risk disclosures, and approval workflows.
• Mitigate liabilities, penalties, warranties, trade/compliance, data privacy provisions.
• Improve internal contract processes and controls for risk management.
• Establish contract quality initiatives and improved terms.
• Analyze customer financials to support revenue recognition and budgeting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve contractual issues.
• Support customer negotiations on complex commercial matters.
