PT. Transcoal Pacific, Tbk in Jakarta is seeking a senior Business Development professional to drive revenue growth in shipping projects.

The role focuses on pre-fixture revenue analysis, project performance tracking, fleet utilization, and building lasting client relationships across Eastern Indonesia. Strong analytical and Excel skills are essential; a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in shipping are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any major with understanding of shipping industry.
Minimum 5 years in Business Development, preferably shipping.
Experience in project administration and shipping contracts.
Knowledge of shipping ops including transhipment and long-hauls.
Ability to monitor cargo volumes, revenue, and fleet utilization.
Strong analytical, coordination, and CRM skills.
Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
Detail-oriented, deadline-driven and team player.

Responsibilities

Monitor project performance and achieve cargo volume and revenue targets for time and freight charter projects.
Conduct Pre-Fixture Analysis (PFA) to evaluate potential revenue before shipment.
Evaluate project performance, identify deviations, and suggest improvements.
Identify additional fleet requirements to support projects in Eastern Indonesia and spot port ops.
Coordinate with Operations and other teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Monitor project administration, including invoice processing and SPAL docs.
Maintain relationships with existing customers and develop new business opportunities.
Conduct market research and customer satisfaction surveys to support growth.
