Job summary

PT Samindo Resources Tbk is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth in sea transport and maritime services from our South Jakarta base. You will identify, evaluate, and develop new opportunities while leading due diligence for vessel acquisitions and investments.

Role requires deep knowledge of vessel chartering, strong financial modelling skills (DCF/IRR/NPV), and excellent English communication. Travel may be needed to build strategic partnerships and negotiate deals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field from a reputable university.
Excellent knowledge of vessel chartering and maritime business.
Strong skills in financial modelling (DCF/IRR/NPV), risk analysis, and business/report writing.
Excellent English communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and evaluate new business opportunities in sea transport and maritime services.
Source and lead due diligence for vessel acquisition, chartering, and other maritime investment opportunities.
Analyse vessel economics, charter rates, operating costs, utilization, and investment returns.
Conduct market, commercial, financial, and risk analyses.
Develop financial models to support investment decisions (DCF/IRR/NPV).
Structure and negotiate transactions, partnerships, and commercial agreements.
Build and manage relationships with shipowners, charterers, brokers, investors, and strategic partners.
Prepare investment memoranda, feasibility studies, business proposals, and deal reports.
