Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative to identify and qualify enterprise opportunities and help fuel the sales pipeline. You will pre-qualify needs through information gathering, engage via phone, email and social channels, and create qualified opportunities for regional sales teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Sales/BD or telemarketing, experience in cybersecurity or cloud computing, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Sales/BD or Telemarketing.
• Experience in Cybersecurity or Cloud computing.
• Ability to gather information to pre-qualify opportunities.
• Proficient in online research and using various software.
• Team player with growth mindset.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify enterprise account leads and opportunities.
• Prospect for new business opportunities via outbound initiatives.
• Qualify, nurture and develop a volume of inbound leads on target accounts.
• Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives.
• Research contacts and generate demand through call and email campaigns & attend events.
• Develop lead qualification and prospect engagement using phone and chat system to achieve quotas.
• Maintain data in our SaaS toolkit (CRM, Sales engagement platform).
