Job summary

PT.Anugrah Inti makmur Indonesia is seeking a Senior Product Development professional to lead ideation through post-launch evaluation in the food, beverage, and health categories.

The role requires coordinating market and scientific research, developing Target Product Profiles, and ensuring regulatory readiness while driving cross-functional collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 degree in Food Technology, Nutrition Science, Pharmacy, Biomedics, Chemistry, Biology or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Product Development or related functions.
• Experience in food, beverage, health supplements, sports nutrition, pharmaceutical or consumer health industries.
• Able to conduct literature search and critical review of scientific journals in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end product development from ideation to post-launch evaluation.
• Conduct market, competitor, consumer, and scientific research to identify opportunities and differentiation.
• Develop product concepts, Target Product Profile and scientific rationale.
• Coordinate sensory, laboratory, efficacy and clinical testing with stakeholders.
• Manage product development timelines, milestones, risks and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure readiness across formula, ingredients, packaging, testing, claims, regulatory, and production trial.
• Analyze post-launch feedback and market data for continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities based on consumer needs, market trends and business strategy.

Senior Product Development is responsible for driving end-to-end product development, from product ideation and concept development to launch and post-launch evaluation. The role leads market and competitor research, establishes scientific rationale and Target Product Profile, manages development timelines, designs sensory and product studies, and prepares scientific references to support product claims and communication.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end product development, from product ideation and concept development to launch and post-launch evaluation
• Conduct market, competitor, consumer, and scientific research to identify product opportunities and differentiation
• Develop product concepts, Target Product Profile, scientific rationale, evidence matrix, and claim substantiation
• Evaluate scientific evidence, ingredient efficacy, dosage, safety, and product claims based on reliable research
• Coordinate sensory, consumer, laboratory, efficacy, and clinical testing with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Manage product development timelines, milestones, risks, and cross-functional collaboration
• Ensure product readiness across formula, ingredients, packaging, testing, claims, regulatory, HPP, and production trial
• Analyze post-launch feedback and market data to drive continuous product improvement
• Identify product opportunities based on consumer needs, market trends, scientific developments, and business strategy
• Conduct structured market and competitor research, analyzing composition, active dosage, claims, format, pricing, positioning, and target consumers

About you

Minimum S1 degree in Food Technology, Nutrition Science, Pharmacy, Biomedics, Chemistry, Biology, or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Development, R&D, Scientific Affairs, Consumer Research, Product Innovation, or related functions

Experience in food, beverage, health supplements, sports nutrition, pharmaceutical, or consumer health industries

Able to conduct literature search and critical review of scientific journals in English

Able to assess research based on population, dosage, ingredient form, duration, endpoints, results, and limitations

Understanding of product development workflow from ideation to commercial launch

Able to develop product concepts, concept briefs, and Target Product Profiles

Able to conduct structured market and competitor research

Able to manage timelines and coordinate across multiple functions

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word with good English language capability
