Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking a senior HR professional to lead multiple HR functions on remote sites, ensuring alignment with project timelines and labor contracts. You will guide staff, coordinate recruitment with the hiring team, and drive policy development to support business needs.

The role requires 8–10 years in HR, familiarity with local employment law, and strong MS Office skills. You will partner with Legal for labour contracts and ensure effective onboarding across projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in human resources management or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of HR experience, preferably in construction/mining.
• Experience managing daily and monthly HR activities.
• Experience working on remote sites.
• Knowledge of local employment law and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organize multiple HR functions and provide direction to staff.
• Coordinate with Hiring team on recruitment needs and timelines.
• Maintain start-up projects with regular meetings with Project managers.
• Coordinate with Legal on contracts for labour supply and follow-up with agents.
• Develop HR policies and administer HR activities.
• Prepare and monitor HR annual budget and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Oversee onboarding and new staff induction to integrate into corporate culture.
