Job summary

PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk is seeking a seasoned HC Services & Employee Relations Manager to lead payroll, benefits, engagement, and compliance across the organization from its Head Office in South Jakarta.

You will manage a team of HC professionals, drive policy development, ensure accurate reporting, and collaborate with senior leaders to foster a people-centric workplace aligned with ESSA values and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Management, Law, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in Human Capital within petrochemical/oil & gas/manufacturing.
• Proven leadership in HC Services & Employee Relations teams.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, compliance, expatriate formalities and benefits administration.
• Experience in payroll processing, HCIS, and employee engagement programs.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• High attention to data accuracy and documentation.
• Strategic mindset with ability to implement policies and improvements.
• Strong presentation and reporting skills for senior management audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HC Services & Employee Relations department, managing a team of HC professionals.
• Oversee payroll accuracy, benefits administration, attendance tracking, training rollout, and HCIS management.
• Administer comprehensive employee benefits programs—retirement, insurance, wellness, and engagement.
• Ensure full compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies concerning employee documentation and benefits.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with other departments to support seamless HC services integration.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on HC Services & Employee Relations performance to senior leadership.
