Job summary

Shopee is seeking a skilled FP&A professional to drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning. You will develop financial models, consolidate data, and provide actionable insights across revenue, costs, and profitability.

The role includes preparing management reports, analyzing KPIs, and partnering with regional FP&A and business teams to align financial goals with operational plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning (orders, GMV, take rate, P&L).
• Collaborate with business partners to gather inputs for monthly budgets and ad hoc forecasts.
• Consolidate and analyse financial data to provide accurate forecasts.
• Monitor and report KPIs to assess financial health and performance vs. targets.
• Analyse topline, revenue, cost, and margin trends to identify drivers and improvements.
• Evaluate pricing strategies, CAC, and promotional activities to optimise profitability.
• Provide insights on trends, benchmarks, and competitive landscape for decisions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Offer commentary on results, highlighting key trends and drivers.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
• Collaborate with departments to align financial goals with operations.
• Coordinate with regional FP&A and Group finance to ensure accurate reporting.
• Work with leaders to develop and track key financial metrics, targets, and initiatives.
