Job summary

Jet Commerce, a leading e-commerce ecosystem service company in Southeast Asia, seeks a Business Development professional in Jakarta to drive growth and expand brand partnerships.

You will build a robust lead pipeline, conduct market research, tailor proposals, negotiate terms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and platforms to drive revenue while guiding the team toward targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of working experience in Business Development in the e‑commerce industry or a related field.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Strong data management and ability to create decks/presentations.
• Detail-oriented and familiar with e-commerce platforms.
• Experience in B2B business development.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate brands’ demand and follow up proactively.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through various channels.
• Conduct market research related to the leads.
• Regularly update pitch decks to align with growth and market trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights for pitches.
• Forecast and qualify opportunities to identify high-potential deals.
• Identify brands, trends, and competitive landscape.
• Perform cost calculations to tailor proposals for brands’ needs.
• Negotiate mutually beneficial terms for both parties.
• Maintain and build strategic relationships with clients and platforms.
• Coordinate with Legal on contracts and agreements.
• Oversee the team to achieve targets; serve as a problem solver.
