Job summary

Intrepid Asia is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead end-to-end omnichannel ecommerce and social commerce solutions for leading brands in SEA from Jakarta. The role blends strategy and hands-on sales, owning the commercial pipeline and collaborating with marketing and product teams.

You will identify and close opportunities across verticals, build a strong network of brand stakeholders, and drive growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Hybrid work in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in business development, partnerships, or sales in digital marketing, agency, or media.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce, especially social platforms such as TikTok.
• Proven track record selling e-commerce or social commerce solutions to senior brand stakeholders.
• Extensive network with brand marketing decision-makers in the region.
• Ability to build a pipeline and drive results independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pitch, and close new business opportunities with brands across key verticals.
• Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline from lead gen to deal closure.
• Act as strategic advisor to clients, delivering tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet client objectives and refine GTM approaches.
• Create growth plans, proposals, and client presentations to drive conversations.
• Represent the company at events and leverage personal networks to open doors.
• Work with BD and marketing to refine positioning and go-to-market strategies.
