Job summary

Akulaku Group is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional in Jakarta to generate and acquire leads, onboard merchants, and expand GMV through market intelligence and strategic partnerships.

You will build relationships with brands, drive onboarding processes with cross-functional teams, and use data analytics to identify growth opportunities in Indonesia’s e-commerce and FMCG sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as listed.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Business Development, Account Executive, Brand Acquisition, or similar roles within E-commerce, Retail, or FMCG.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales or GMV targets.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong data management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and acquire leads by targeting key brands and merchants through market intelligence.
• Manage and incubate newly onboarded merchants to ensure GMV growth.
• Conduct local market and competitive research to support rapid business expansion.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing merchant accounts and brands to drive retention and partnerships.
• Ensure smooth merchant onboarding by collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
• Negotiate and build long-term partnerships with merchants and brands.
