Job summary

Agung Sedayu Group seeks an experienced Chief Engineer to lead the operation and maintenance of a premium high‑rise residential complex in Jakarta. You will oversee all MEP and structural systems, manage a technical team, and drive preventive maintenance programs to ensure safe, comfortable living for residents.

You will lead vendor relationships, optimize energy use, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Strong leadership and crisis management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
• 5–7 years engineering or facility management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in high-rise or hospitality properties.
• Deep knowledge of centralized HVAC, high-voltage electrical systems, plumbing, and modern BMS platforms.
• Relevant safety or engineering certifications (e.g., K3 Umum/K3 Listrik) are highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and crisis management capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, vendor management, and financial planning skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Availability to respond to building emergencies outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• System Operations & Maintenance: Oversee HVAC, MEP, fire life safety, elevators, water treatment, and BMS.
• Preventive maintenance: Develop and monitor preventive/predictive schedules to minimize downtime.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage engineering technicians and maintenance staff; set KPIs.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Source, negotiate with, and supervise third-party contractors.
• Budget & Cost Control: Prepare and manage annual engineering and maintenance budget; monitor expenses.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with local codes; lead safety audits and emergency protocols.
• Tenant Relations: Coordinate with property management to address maintenance requests.
