Key of responsibilities

• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliable and efficient operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators, and other building systems
• Reviewing preventive maintenance reports
• Responding to and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and tenant/resident requests promptly
• Managing and overseeing the work of external maintenance contractors and vendors
• Inspecting facilities regularly to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement
• Monitoring and optimizing energy usage to reduce consumption and costs
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, security and safety regulations (HSE), and environmental requirements
• Collaborating with the property management team to maintain the overall functionality and appearance of the building
• Participating in budget planning and capital improvement projects
• Keeping up-to-date equipment maintenance logs, inventory, and updating preventive maintenance manuals quarterly
• Controlling and monitoring the operation of all equipment
• Creating and preparing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring their proper implementation/utilization
• Effectively and efficiently controlling management operational costs
• Performing other responsibilities related to operational continuity as instructed by the building manager/head of department
• Ensuring compliance with housekeeping and hospitality standards
• Establishing good communication with owner representatives and the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical from a reputable university
• At least 2 years of experience as an Engineer in property management
• Certification or licensure in relevant trades (eg, HSE/K3) preferred
• Strong technical expertise in building systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Good team-working skills and strong leadership abilities
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with internal and external stakeholders, and customer service abilities
• Fluency in English, both oral and written, will be an advantage
