The ideal candidate has a strong background in higher education, exceptional communication, and a passion for student success, with experience in remote advisory environments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Education, Higher Education Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in academic advising or student support in higher education.
• Understanding of academic policies, curriculums, and student development theories.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with student information systems (SIS) and advising software.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive academic advising on course selection, program requirements, and planning.
• Monitor student progress and implement interventions as needed.
• Guide students on university policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Assist with exploring career options and connect to resources.
• Facilitate workshops and information sessions on study skills and career exploration.
• Maintain accurate, confidential student records in line with privacy rules.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student support services for holistic development.
