Job summary

Surabaya European School in Surabaya is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripherals for the campus. Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, projectors, and other IT equipment; perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure system reliability.

Assist with data backups, IT documentation, and administration of school information systems including Dapodik.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field.
• Experience in IT support, system administration, school administration, or a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of Dapodik administration is an advantage.
• Experience supporting Apple/macOS and iOS devices is preferred.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, software installation, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with data management, system maintenance, and backup procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Adaptable, reliable, and service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, projectors, and other IT equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and preventive checks to ensure system reliability.
• Assist in maintaining data backups and IT documentation.
• Support the administration of school information systems and digital platforms.
• Serve as the school's Dapodik Operator and ensure data is maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with vendors or service providers when required.
• Support technology-related needs during school activities and events.
