Job summary

Talent Search Recruitment - Indonesia seeks a Sales Manager (Water Treatment) to lead sales activities for water and wastewater solutions in Indonesia. The role is a sole contributor for now, reporting to HQ Business Unit Lead, with plans to build a team in the future.

You will cultivate customer relationships, coordinate with engineering and operations teams, and drive techno-commercial discussions to secure orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environment Science, Mechanical) from reputed institutions.
• 10-12 years' experience in Sales in Water business in Indonesia.
• Negotiating and interpersonal skills essential; contracting knowledge advantageous.
• Techno-commercial evaluation skills and ability to coordinate with HO and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and achieve order bookings for Water Treatment, SeaWater Desalination, and Waste Water projects.
• Travel extensively across Indonesia to engage with customers and generate enquiries.
• Understand client requirements and develop competitive proposals with HO input.
• Submit offers in consultation with HO and efforts to convert to orders.
• Engage in techno-commercial discussions with clients, consultants, EPC contractors for business development.
• Track, report sales activities and analyze market trends regularly.

About the Role

This position will handling all sales activities for the company'sWater and Waste Water Business in Indonesia. The position will report to Business Unit Lead in HQ and is a sole contributor position, for now (will build own team in the future).

Job Responsibilities

• Manage sales and achieve order booking target for Water Treatment unit, SeaWater Desalination system, Waste Water Treatment Plant and Recycle & ZLDsystem.
• Extensive travelling and approach customer to understand their requirement andgenerate enquiries.
• Understand client requirements, coordinate with various operating groups anddevelop a competitive proposal.
• Submit offer in consultation with HO coordinators and pursue to convert into order.
• Engage in techno-commercial discussions with clients, consultants, EPC contractorsfor business development in Indonesia
• Track & report sales and marketing activities on a decided periodic basis.
• Analyze market trends and keep other departments updated about them.
• Map the market and keeping track of the competitors.
• Frequent business travels across Indonesia

Job Requirements

• Essential Qualification : Good Academic record throughout and Bachelor's Degree inEngineering (Chemical, Environment Science, Mechanical from reputed institutions.
• Experience: 10 - 12 years' experience in the field of Sales in Water
  business in Indonesia.
• Negotiating and Interpersonal skills
• Techno-commercial evaluation skills, Contracting knowledge
• Basic Knowledge about Water (DM & SWRO) and Waste Water (Recycle, ZLD)
• Excellent Communication, Networking and presentation skills
