Job summary

PT Logwin Air & Ocean Indonesia is seeking a Sales Executive to promote Air and Ocean freight services, manage client relationships, and drive new business from Tangerang or Surabaya. The role emphasizes English communication, industry knowledge, and a strong sales background.

You will develop and maintain an active pipeline, support pricing strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to win bids and grow revenue in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B sales and negotiation.
• Industry knowledge of Freight Forwarding and shipping terms.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Driving license and own vehicle.
• Experience with CRM and outbound sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Promote and grow Air and Sea freight services (imports and exports).
• Manage client relationships and handle complaints to protect margins.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through cold calling and proposals.
• Prepare quotes, respond to RFPs, and coordinate pricing with the team.
• Develop outbound sales strategies and drive deal closures.

We operate as a group with about 190 own offices in about 36 countries. In Indonesia we are established since 1991 and have offices in Jakarta, Surabaya and new Office at Semarang. We can offer complete services in Indonesia with our own PPJK, own bonded warehouse (general, air conditioned, cold room and minus degree storage facilities) at Soewarna business park where is also our office location. In Indonesia we had a very strong development over the past years.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Promote and grow the Air and Sea freight services (both imports and exports)
• Client analysis on gross margin, volume, and profitability as well as client management with respect to handling complaints
• Support finance team mates for Collections of overdue outstanding if needed
• updating the CRM system with customer activities and opportunity management
• Cold calling, quoting and close new business, and maintaining a healthy pipeline of customers/ accounts
• Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
• Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs -from various sources
• Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies
• Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
• Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
• Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentation developing new ideas/ strategies
• Proactively source and qualify new business opportunities/leads via inbound and outbound marketing efforts

What you can contribute:

• Excellent communications skills in English (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural)
• Degree from junior / senior high school or successful Bachelor’s degree in business or management
• In-depth knowledge of Shipping Line, Freight Forwarding products such as Sea/Air Import & Exports, Project Cargo, ODC, Ro-Ro, Break Bulk/Commodities
• Relevant experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry (Minimum 3 years) and good knowledge of Inco Terms and Operations
• Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
• Working experience with sales techniques
• Excellent communications skills in English (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural)
• High integrity and work ethic
• Driving license and own vehicle are required
