Job summary

PT ARUNG LAUTAN JAYA is seeking a Sales Executive to manage daily client communications, prepare reports and quotes, and drive new business in the shipping sector from its Jakarta office.

The role requires a Marketing-related degree, 1+ years in shipping/logistics, and strong English presentation skills, with a broad industry network to fuel sales growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping, forwarding, or logistics.
• B2B sales experience; shipping with FAME commodities is a plus.
• Fluent in English with excellent presentation skills.
• Strong customer network across industries.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily communication with clients via calls, emails, and meetings.
• Prepare visit reports, sales quotations, and customer updates.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager and internal teams to execute sales strategies.
• Retain existing customers and actively acquire new ones (hunting accounts).
