Job summary

Flowserve Corporation in Jakarta is seeking a Sales Engineer to manage key customer relationships and drive bookings for rotating equipment, including pumps and mechanical seals. You will coordinate with internal teams and third-party partners to advance sales opportunities.

The role requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge of flow-control equipment, and the ability to present solutions and ROI to customers in the oil and gas, power, paper and chemical industries.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in a relevant field and 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in sales for rotating equipment (pumps and mechanical seals) preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of API 610 Standard (oil & gas) beneficial.
• Ability to lead meetings and negotiate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive bookings to meet or exceed assigned bookings goal.
• Maintain regular, planned communication with key customers in the area you support.
• Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives.
• Serve customers as a primary contact for all business dealings including proposals and deliveries.
• Educate customers on the quality, features and uses of our products using marketing materials.
• Collaborate with application engineers, customer service, and manufacturing to meet customer needs.
• Knowledge of rotating pumps and mechanical seals.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Maintain organized records and reports, quotes, statuses, and expenses.
• Discuss ROI and solution selling to support business decisions.
• Work independently and travel to customer sites as needed.
